Here is a great story from an old classmate of mine. I have known Dana for 30 years. When it comes to Autism, Breast and Ovarian Cancer, Heart Disease and other very serious issues that threaten the lives of our friends and family there is a small designer living in Illinois that is trying to give back a creative touch and more. Dana Designs began 8 years ago with an inspired artist and a dedicated designer named Dana Schwartzenfeld. Inspired, professional and aspiring, Dana is designing her way into such artwork, like necklaces selling onto the difficult areas of life. Her designs, called My Awareness Line touch the hearts of those that need it most. They are georgous. "I started with breast cancer and it grew from there", recalls Dana. And slowly but surely, her designs and her business took off. "I was on Fox 2 News with Jay Tower. Also, I did some work for JoAnne Purtan (Dick Purtan) her mom is a survivor of both breast & ovarian cancer, & her nephew has autism." At the same time, Dana was diagnosed with sinus tachycardia and added heart disease designs, literally from the bottom of her heart and on onto her line for sale. Being creative and working on heart warming jewlery, memorable pieces is the foundation of her design work and you can feel her passion, but for all practicality she also donates a portion of the proceeds. Please feel free to call Dana Designs and they will handmake a peice for your needs or they have a wide catalog of pictures that they can email you.
